By accessing and using Giglance ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Giglance is a platform that connects freelancers (Talents) with clients who need services. We provide tools for project management, communication, and secure payment processing.

3. User Accounts

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws)
  • Transmit any worms, viruses, or malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Attempt to circumvent our fee structure or payment systems

5. Payments and Fees

Giglance charges platform fees for successful transactions. Details of our fee structure are available on the Platform. Payment terms between Talents and Clients are agreed upon directly, but all payments must be processed through the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Giglance and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the Platform.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Giglance is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Talents
  • The truth or accuracy of Talent listings or Client posts
  • The ability of Talents to deliver services or Clients to pay for them
  • Disputes between Clients and Talents

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage users to resolve it directly. If that fails, you agree to first contact our support team to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
